Abbey is a lighting & sound designer, theatre technician, and builder of many IKEA bookshelves. Her upcoming designs include A Goat, A Ghost and a Guinness(The Flare Productions) and GreatFelt Greatness(Telling Stars Theatre, Toronto Fringe). She was the lighting and sound designer of the Toronto Fringe’s 2023 "Artist’s Choice" Award-winning show Featherhead (Birdbrain Theatre Collective). She was also the sound designer and composer for Pandemic Round (JAC Theatre, 2021) in her hometown, Montreal. She graduated from George Brown College's post-graduate Sound Design & Production program and has a diploma in Technical Theatre from John Abbott College. Her passions lie within the abstract, taking influences from The Disintegration Loops by William Basinski, and David Lynch films to explore her own processes for warping the mundane.
